Scouting report

Mlodzinski missed almost the entire 2019 season due to a broken foot, then blew up on the Cape where he was into the mid-90s with two above average breaking balls. He was 95-98 with bat-missing life early in outings, and a 88-91 cutter/slider was his most-used secondary. He got lit up early in 2020, when his slider wasn't as crisp and his fastball very liftable. His start to last year scared me enough that I rounded his FV down even though he was great on the Cape, where he looked like a mid-rotation starter, someone who'd go in the middle of the first round.
